Beim Durchstöbern meines Archivs bin ich auf diese Icon-Illustrationen gestossen. Konnte mich an diese Geschichte gar nicht mehr erinnern (2004).
Die Idee war offenbar, die Sujets in super reduzierte Oldschool-Pixel-Picto-Icons umzusetzen. Ob diese tatsächlich «en miniature» funktioniert hätten, ist wohl eher zweifelhaft :-)… Tatsächlich waren die «echten» Icons in den Anfängen des Desktop-Computing zuweilen sehr genial und sackstarke Grafik.
While looking through my archive, I came across these icon illustrations. I couldn’t remember this story at all (2004).
The idea was apparently to convert the subjects into super-reduced oldschool pixel-picto icons. Whether these would have actually worked „en miniature“ is rather doubtful :-)… In fact, the „real“ icons in the early days of desktop computing were sometimes very cool and strong graphics.
